I hope that my visual work might stand as a testament someday to the historic events that have unfolded around me and the social issues that have driven the heart of my work. Several themes have consistently run through all my projects; social justice, freedom for the Syrian people, and a desire in particular to give a voice to children, the most voiceless and most vulnerable among those who have been targeted in Syria’s current turmoil.

Born in Kuwait to Syrian parents in 1980, I grew up in Damascus and was based there until the uprisings sent me and legions of other artists fleeing to different countries till I finally got my asylum in France where I keep working on my projects as a freelancer.

I began as a cartoonist at the Syrian-based Spacetoon channel in 2001, where I received my first training, and soon began as a layout artist for the fledgling cartoon series. Since then, my career has spanned a variety of mediums and capacities, including layout design, animation, concept art, painting, comic books, and character design.
Now I more focus on spot lighting on the education situation of Syrian kids, and refugees in general, in 2014 I started my own initiative making murals in the refugee camps and alternative education centers between Lebanon and Turkey to encourage kids going back to school after skipping for few years because of the war, In parallel I was doing art workshops for kids and adult to help them express themselves, also I’m working on wellbeing and psychological themes recently like post trauma.

آمل أن يكون عملي المرئي بمثابة شهادة على الأحداث التاريخية التي تكشفت من حولي والقضايا الاجتماعية التي هي محفزا لاعمالي. مواضيع متعددة شغلت باستمرار مشاريعي ؛ العدالة الاجتماعية ، والحرية للشعب السوري ، والرغبة بشكل خاص في إعطاء صوت للأطفال ، الذين لا صوت لهم والأكثر ضعفاً بين أولئك الذين تم استهدافهم في الاضطرابات السورية الحالية.
ولدت في الكويت لأبوين سوريين في عام 1980 ، وترعرعت في دمشق واستقريت هناك حتى دفعتني الثورة وعدد من الفنانين الآخرين إلى الفرار إلى بلدان مختلفة إلى أن حصلت على حق اللجوء في فرنسا حيث أواصل العمل على مشاريعي بصفة مستقلة
للرسوم المتحركة، Spacetoon في عام 2001 بدأت كرسامة كارتون ، حيث تلقيت تدريبي الأول في قناة سبيس تون الحين ، امتدت مسيرتي المهنية إلى مجموعة متنوعة من الوسائط الفنية ، بما في ذلك وفن المفاهيم والكتب المصورة وتصميم الشخصيات.
الآن أركز بشكل أكبر على تسليط الضوء على الوضع التعليمي للأطفال السوريين واللاجئين بشكل عام ، في عام 2014 بدأت مبادرتي في صنع الجداريات في مخيمات اللاجئين ومراكز التعليم البديل في لبنان وتركيا لتشجيع الأطفال على العودة إلى المدرسة بعد سنوات .ضياع بسبب الحرب ، بالمقابل اعمل على ورش عمل فنية للأطفال والكبار لمساعدتهم على التفريغ النفسي، ايضا اعمل مؤخرا على موضوعات العناية النفسية من مشاكل مثل تراما ما بعد الصدمة.
